Here is how my characters are looking at the moment. Im not sure about the pose for the villain, thus I have two for her. The sidekick I am happy with even though it needs work it will mainly be cloths etc for him. The hero I like as well though something feels wrong with its pose and Im not sure what it is?

Hero & Villain Development
Here Im looking at my hero and villain a little more. What my real aim here was to get a pose which goes with my characters to which I can then take to photoshop. I believe I have now found those posses for these characters though the need a little tweaking for example the proportions of the villain and to turn my hero around so he's more like the posse in the bottom left.
Even though these do not have much details I now have my characters figured out so the only way is up now.

Basic Coloured Character
Even these are dead basic colour and could have easily been done with a lambert, I did painted these in photoshop. This was to practice texturing as I never did any texturing in the last unit.

Hero Development
Here Im really trying to work out my what my heroes power will look like. The power it self is a magic of shadows. He him self can blend with the shadows but I'm working on how far to or not to push this power. I like the idea of maybe it turns into a weapon? Or if he becomes enraged his shadow takes form to attack.
1
After a talk with Justin I began to look at how to play more with the shadows. Justin said that before the shadows seemed evil due to them being sharp so I went to look how to make them less so. In one way I made them look a little more cartoony by making them more simply lined. I do like this though I do like the older, more evil looking ones. (though It prob doesn't fit with the character)
2
Here again I looked at how to work on the shadow power.

Here is how my hero is at the moment. Although he him self is unrefined (clothing, face, etc) Im beginning to understand him as a character and how maybe he should look instead of guessing. I stole the pose from the sidekick as well as the weapon due to the fact i think it fits with the hero and his power more.
Evil Sidekick Development
Here I was looking at the evil sidekick. I backed away from my early workings of the massive build for him to go with a more soldier kind of look. I went into looking at old Jap army uniforms for inspirations. The image on the far left, I very much liked that pose, although it is a little to hero like (may be able to re use for the hero himself!) it came out well. I also quite like the weapon I came up with and again is a little to hero for him but its all going in the right direction. The guy in the middle is the best sidekick there due to him being scrawny and having his face covered.
1
Here was my simply play around moment. On the left I simply wanted to see what it would look like more cartoony and on the right I just put loads of bits on him even if they didn't fit together to see what the out come would be.
2
Here Is my sidekick how he is at the moment. (the guns I'm not so sure of!) Ive again looked at covering part of his face and the hole army uniform with a little bit of samurai armer put into the mix. It may need a little 'spacing out' but I'm trying not to go so far as to get a storm trouper here.

Hero Development
Here I was trying to get a feel of my character. I was kind if simply chucking things at it to see what would work before I even new the character himself.
1
Here I was again looking at a pose.

Character Lesson 9
Here we was told to design a setting from a selected group of words. The words I was given was horrific temple. I liked designing this as it goes back to my old day of when i would always draw places like this.

character lesson 8
In this lesson we were looking at making work for a client. We had to design a select group of characters that had to fit with what the client was asking for.

Here I was designing the robot medic character that I quite liked drawing. With a little more love it could have been quite the character if ever I wish to go back to him.

Here I was looking at the tom boy mechanic. She was rather fun to draw as well and helped out a lot with drawing poses.
Character Lesson 7
In this lesson, we were looking at drawing animals. To start off we looked at making the pose of the animles like we would a human. This went okay and I rather liked drawing the eagle.

3
Here we were told to splice two animals together from a particular area. I spliced, or tried to splice a bat and a fox.

6
I liked doing this and even tho its not finished I liked no 6 the best due to its face and pose.
