Character Design

so trying to apply more shapes to the muscles yet retain a little stylisation.

    The characters were strongly influenced by Max Fleischer's Superman http://www.blogcdn.com/www.comicsalliance.com/media/2012/11/supes-hed-2.jpg

    Fleischer rotoscoped live actors to achieve realistic movement and design. The creators of Batman: The Animated Series took this realism and stylised it, retaining the human distinction yet giving it a clean and bold Art Deco-inspired aesthetic overall.
